KATHY IRELAND TO HEADLINE NAWBO® 2012 CONFERENCE

(Washington, DC, June 18, 2012)—Today the National Association of Women Business Owners® (NAWBO®) is announcing that Kathy Ireland, Chief Designer and CEO of kathy ireland Worldwide, will serve as the keynote speaker of their Women’s Business Conference (WBC) 2012. The WBC will be held October 4th-5th in Louisville, Kentucky, and include additional high-profile speakers and attendees from a variety of industries and sectors, including fashion, government and the media.

The theme of the 2012 WBC is Start Something. Events will center around the ways that women business owners innovate, advocate and accelerate their businesses and impact their communities.

Forbes Magazine reports kathy ireland World Wide grosses over $1.9B in sales in a February 2012 cover story. She will share her story about how she built her business empire, the most important lessons she learned along the way, what things have been critical to her growth, what inspires and motivates her to reach higher, and the delicate balance faced by women in managing family responsibilities, career and boundaries.
