It didn't take long for sheriff's deputies to arrest a man they say stole a television during a home invasion.
The Franklin County Sheriff's Department says just before 11 Tuesday night, a man armed with a baseball bat forced his way into a home on Woodlake Road, and demanded money.
Deputies say the victim didn't give the intruder any money, so the man took a 37 inch television and left.
Deputies say they soon identified 27-year-old Joshua B. Sams as the suspect, and arrested him. They recovered the stolen television.
Sams is charged with robbery. He was lodged in the Franklin County Regional Jail.
