The search is underway for a man police say robbed a Frankfort restaurant at gunpoint.

It happened just after 8 Thursday night at the Taco John's on Lawrenceburg Road.

Police say the suspect walked in, showed a gun, and demanded money from the employees inside.

After getting some money, police say the man ran off toward Ridgewood Lane.

Police say the suspect is a black man, around 5'8" or 5'9", with a small build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and silver mirrored sun glasses.
