The search is on for a man police say robbed a central Kentucky store at gunpoint.

It happened just before 6 p.m. Monday at the Hughes Fresh Market on Wilkinson Boulevard in Frankfort.

Frankfort Police say a man, armed with a small black handgun, walked in and demanded money.

Police say the clerk complied and the suspect ran off with an undetermined amount of money.

Police say the suspect is a black man, between 5'8" and 5'10", around 155 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair, possibly in dreadlocks.

Police say the suspect was last seen wearing a dark jacket, dark pants, gloves, and a dark scarf wrapped around his head.
