Police are calling the victim of a car crash the "luckiest man in the state."
Investigators tell us John Randsell was headed home to Lexington from his job in Frankfort Friday night when his Honda Accord crossed the median, went airborne and overturned in the air.
It eventually landed in the westbound lanes of I-64 in Scott county.
Randsell managed to miss other cars on the interstate.
He was taken to UK hospital where he's in serious condition.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
