Police in Frankfort have made an arrest in a standoff that lasted for more than nine hours.
William Durham, 59, is charged with three counts of attempted murder. Police say he surrendered around 10:18 p.m. on Thursday.
The standoff began on Thursday afternoon when Frankfort Police were called to the home on Fourth Street to make a welfare check.
Police did break a window of the apartment. Officers threw some kind of gas inside, but the suspect did not come out.
Shortly after that shots were fired at officers. No one was hit.
