Police are investigating following an early morning shooting in a central Kentucky neighborhood.

Frankfort police tell us the shooting happened around 6:00 Sunday morning on Logan Street.

Officers responded after a report of gunshots fired. When they arrived at the scene they say they discovered shots had been fired into an unoccupied parked car and also into a house. We're told that house had several people including children inside.

No one was injured.

The incident has made neighbors nervous.

"It really scares me, considering I have a 6 year old child," said neighbor Amber Hart, who heard the gunshots from inside her house, "I am really scared and I am debating moving."

Police have been knocking on doors in the area all day looking for witnesses and interviewing neighbors. So far they have not named any suspects or said what could have led to the shooting.
