For most of the afternoon, Frankfort drivers only experienced rain on the roads. However, as of 2 o'clock this afternoon, snow flurries could be seen. While some drivers told us that they loved the snow, others told us they had concerns about road conditions.

Some people were seen at the Kroger on Versailles road in Frankfort picking up household essentials before heading home for the day.

"I think it's pretty. I am ready to go back in the house though and hibernate until its gone," says Floria Willhoite, a driver in Frankfort.

Some drivers were hoping that the snow predictions were wrong. "I wouldn't have left home if I thought it was going to snow," says Margueriete Jureak, a driver in Frankfort.

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet crews have concerns that the left over puddles on the roads will turn to ice by nightfall and stay that way through the morning.

Snow and ice removal crews from the state advise drivers to stay off the roads if possible.
Most drivers we spoke to say that's exactly what they plan on doing,"Drive very carefully in this weather because you didn't only need to watch you yiourself. You need to watch others too," adds Willhoite.
