State lawmakers will be back in Frankfort Monday for a special session.
Governor Steve Beshear called for the session so lawmakers can pass a road budget and prescription abuse bill.
The regular legislative session ended Thursday without lawmakers finishing work on both issues.
The special session will last at least five days and will cost taxpayers more than $60,000 a day.
