A Kentucky State Police trooper is recovering after he was injured in a foot chase.
Police say the trooper was following a car he believed may have been stolen when it drove through the parking lot of Country Hills Apartments on Schenkel Lane in Frankfort early Monday.
The three guys in the car bailed eventually bailed out of it and ran.
The trooper ran after the group but twisted his ankle.
The three guys in the car got away.
Police think they may have been juveniles.
