Tonight a special honor for a team of 10-year-olds from Scott County.
The Mayor gave the team the key to the city after they won the Cal Ripken All-Stars World Series over the weekend in Florida. They celebrated tonight at Suffoletta Park in Georgetown. Their coach described the whole experience as something they'll keep with them the rest of their lives. The Cal Ripken World Series is part of the Babe Ruth League.
The Scott County 10-year-olds competed against 10 other regional champions from all over the country.
