A couple faces drug charges after police make a bust in their neighborhood.
The Scott County Sheriff's Office arrested Troy and Jennifer Lee early Wednesday morning at their home on Whistler Court, in the Mallard Point subdivision.
Investigators say they found more than $8,500 in cash, along with weapons and pills.
We're told the investigation started after the sheriff's office got reports of a high volume of traffic coming in and out of the home.
That's when the sheriff's office says it began surveillance of the home.
According to the arrest report, at 1:30 a.m., an informant working for the Scott County Sheriff's Office bought Oxycodone pills from Troy Lee.
That then led to Lee's arrest, along with the arrest of his wife, Jennifer.
Sheriff's deputies say they found around 100 Oxycodone pills they think were brought back from Florida. they believe the couple had 1500 to 1600 pills at one time.
The investigation is ongoing, and deputies say more charges and arrests are possible.
Troy and Jennifer Lee are each charged with trafficking a controlled substance.
