After 25 seasons, Oprah Winfrey is leaving her hit talk show, which many people have watched for years on WKYT.

Wednesday's show is the finale. It airs at 4 p.m.

The show is seen all around the world.

Some people here in the Bluegrass have experienced the Oprah excitement up close and personal.

Lexington's Kristen Kleine had wanted to attend a taping of Oprah's show for years.

She ended up attending the 19th season opener, when Oprah gave away cars to every member of the studio audience.

In 2006, Oprah and her best friend, Gayle King, rode through central Kentucky on their road trip, even making a stop at the Georgetown Cracker Barrel.

In 2007, Richmond's Jennifer West, whose husband died while serving in Iraq, was honored on a show about women overcoming hardship.

West was one of several women who were sent for a week of pampering and inspiration at an Arizona spa.

In Berea, the New Opportunity School For Women was featured on a 2004 episode, and received a $100,000 gift from Oprah.
