Larry Alan Crump
A search is underway for an inmate officials say escaped from the Otter Creek Correctional Center in Floyd County Thursday.
During a standard inmate count at the prison Thursday night, officials say the prison's staff discovered 27-year-old Larry Alan Crump was missing.
Officials say Crump escaped from the secure perimeter of the facility.
Crump is serving a 30 year sentence due to offenses in Scott, Montgomery, Harrison, and Bourbon Counties.
Those offenses include several prior escapes, wanton endangerment, fleeing or evading police, burglary, assault, and criminal mischief.
Officials with the Floyd County Sheriff's Department, Kentucky State Police, CCA, and the Kentucky Department of Corrections are searching for Crump. They're all asking for the public's help in finding him.
Crump is a white man, who is around 6 feet tall and weighs around 180 pounds. He has hazel eyes, and tattoos on his abdomen, back, left shoulder blade, chest, and both arms.
