The Feed the Children organization handed out food today to those in need in Scott County.
The organization had 400 boxes of food to give out, but as of Friday afternoon, they had only given away 150 boxes.
Officials with the organization say Scott County residents in need can stop by the Amen House in Georgetown, starting Monday, to pick up the remaining boxes of food.
Officials say families qualify by income, and they must have at least one child in their household.
Residents must bring income verification and their identification to receive a box of food.
