State investigators have issued a formal reprimand of a Georgetown daycare.
State investigators say Grace Christian Church's Early Learning Center in Georgetown did not report sexual abuse allegations in a timely matter.
Investigators also say the officials at the daycare did not remove the accused worker from the classroom and allowed the employee to continue to be around children.
Police have since closed the case against the worker and say they did not find enough evidence for an arrest.
The daycare has until next Friday to respond to the state's reprimands.
