Officials at the Georgetown post office found a suspicious package Thursday morning that was addressed to Toyota.
It was found in the loading dock area, of the Showalter Drive office, which is just off U.S. 25.
The post office was not closed during the incident.
Investigators have determined the package is not a threat, and is not hazardous. It's now been sent to the FBI's office in Louisville for further investigation.
It's the fifth suspicious package addressed to Toyota in the past week. Other packages were sent to Toyota's offices in Erlanger, along with Toyota facilities in Texas, West Virginia, and Indiana.
None of the packages were hazardous. The Georgetown package was the first not to reach its intended destination.
A Toyota spokesperson says since the suspicious packages started showing up, company officials have decided to go to the post office to pick up mail, rather than have it delivered.
That's why the package never reached the Toyota plant in Georgetown.
Investigators say all of the packages were sent from Nigeria.
