We could learn more Thursday about a teenager who is accused of trying to burn down a house while a family was asleep inside.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Thursday afternoon in Scott County for Brian Beacham, 18.
Police say he tried torching his ex-girlfriend's home earlier this month.
The girl's father was burned while trying to put out the fire.
Beacham has pleaded not guilty.
