GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WKYT) - The cemetery is a place to grieve the loss of friends and loved ones, and is even thought of as sacred, but that wasn't the case for one Central Kentucky woman.

Scott County Police have arrested and charged Pamela Vickers. Police say she stole personal items left on grave sites.

WKYT spoke to one of the victims and they tell us this is like adding insult to injury.

Barbara Hamilton had a flower arrangement stolen off of her husbands grave. She says, "She should put herself in our place. If she lost someone special to her she would feel the same, she would feel the hurt we feel."

Police say if you think any of your items have been stolen you can contact the Scott County Police Department to check out the recovered items.
