Closing arguments are expected to take place Tuesday afternoon in the trial of James Anthony Gray.
Police say Gray killed his parents, James and Vivian Gray. Their bodies were found in their Sadieville home in 2007.
On Tuesday morning, the jury listened to a taped deposition from an expert on forced confessions. Gray said on the stand yesterday that he was forced to confess to killing his parents. Jurors watched that taped confession in court last week. Gray said sheriff's deputies questioned him, and told him they had a lot of evidence placing him at the scene.
"He says 'You'll have to give a confession or you'll die. The judge won't give you a deal unless you confess... Look here's the evidence. I can prove it.' He kept showing me that document and I'm scared cause I think it's real. I don't know how he got in my car," said Gray.
Closing arguments in the trial are scheduled to begin Tuesday. The jury is expected to start deliberating before noon.
