Investigators are trying to figure out what sparked a fire that destroyed a Scott County farm house.
Someone called emergency crews after spotting flames and heavy smoke on Iron Works Road, near the Franklin County line.
When firefighters arrived, they found a three story home fully involved. Fire officials tell WKYT no one was inside when the fire started.
WKYT has since learned the home on Heatherland Farm has been vacant for years. Neighbors say the property is a working horse farm, where 29 retired race horses are kept.
