The heavy snow that fell is causing some problems in the WKYT viewing area. It's weighing down on power lines, causing some outages.
The Kentucky Utilities website showed small clusters of outages in multiple counties, including Scott, Woodford, Fayette and Franklin.
Cliff Feltham, with K.U., says a high voltage line is out between west Scott county and east Franklin County. There are 2,650 Scott County customers without power and 2,100 in Franklin County without power.
KU is working right now to fix the problem.
Today's outages add to the already large number of Kentuckians without power due to Friday's tornado outbreak. The Kentucky Public Service Commission say there are more than 9,000 people without power.
