Officials say lightning likely started a fire that destroyed a central Kentucky barn.
The fire began just before 3 a.m. Friday at the Hillcrest Horse Farm on Etter Lane in Georgetown.
The fire was so intense, it could be seen from at least a mile away.
Officials were on the scene for several hours.
It's believed no animals were inside the barn at the time.
The property once belonged to Lexington attorney Shirley Cunningham, who pleaded guilty to helping bilk millions of dollars from clients in a Fen-Phen settlement.
It was put up for auction in 2011 after it was forfeited to the government.
