Observant officers make quick arrest in stabbing

A man faces charges after a stabbing.

Someone called 911 from a home in the Scroggins Park neighborhood of Georgetown saying they had been stabbed.
When police arrived, they found a man with a stab wound to the torso area.

Georgetown Police officers were already patrolling in the area around the time of the crime, when they saw a car speeding off. They were able to follow the driver and stop the car.

They arrested Seth Vance. He's charged with first degree assault with a deadly weapon.

The victim was taken to UK Hospital. A condition on him was not available.

At this point, police still don't have a motive for the crime. They say the suspect and victim are giving conflicting stories. They're hoping someone who may have witnessed the crime will come forward with information.
