Slick roads created a messy scene in northern Scott County Thursday morning.
Police say two vehicles slid off Interstate 75 around mile marker 139.
The SUV rolled over several times, causing a passenger to be thrown from the vehicle.
Police say that person suffered some lower body injuries, and was taken to UK Hospital. However, those injuries were considered to be non-life threatening.
Police say drivers need to be more careful on wet roads.
"The family that we just dealt with will be spending the day at the hospital, instead of at their family's," Kentucky State Police Trooper Joey Johnson said. "Take an extra few minutes. Under 70 (mph) at least on a day like today is advisable."
No one else was hurt in the crash.
