Police arrest apologizing robber

An arrest is made in a robbery where a man apologized and claimed he needed the money to feed his 6 kids.

Georgetown Police have arrested 19-year old Daniel Ashcraft. After our story first aired, police got a tip that he was staying in a hotel near the Shell Station that was robbed early today.

Police tell Newsfirst they found the jacket and black toboggan seen in surveillance video of the robbery. Detectives say Ashcraft confessed to the crime saying he used the money for drugs and he has no children.

He's now in the Scott County Detention Center.
