Police need help finding a man who they believe may be behind two robberies. Both crimes happened in Georgetown.

The first robbery happened in late March at a Shell Station on Showalter Drive. A man with a gas can demanded the clerk give him money. After emptying the drawer and safe, the guy takes off.

On Easter morning, the Dairy Queen was also robbed. Police say the suspect smashed in a glass door and held up to manager with a shiv.
Georgetown Police are teaming with Bluegrass Crime Stoppers to try and make an arrest. They believe the cases may be connected.

"The cases are similar. The clothing is similar, with the white shoes. The mannerisms are similar if you look at the video. So, yeah, that's definitely a possibility and angle we are investigating," said Lt. Robert Swanigan with Georgetown Police.

Lt. Swanigan says the department is excited about working with Bluegrass Crime Stoppers on these cases as well as other ones in the future.
