Kentucky State Police say they found pounds of drugs and thousands of dollars in cash after being given permission to search a Scott County home.
Troopers went to the home on Mossey Cup Court Wednesday night as part of an active narcotics investigation. The detectives were reportedly investigating information they had received regarding possible drug activity. They say Armand Roberts gave officers permission to search the home. That's when detectives say they found approximately 15 pounds of suspected marijuana, hydrocodone pills, drug paraphernalia and $9,555 in cash.
State Police charged Roberts, 27, with trafficking in marijuana (more than five pounds), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, and prescription controlled substance not in original container.
