After dealing with vandals night after night, a group of neighbors have decided to fight back and start their own neighborhood crime watch.
They tell us the vandalism started in their Georgetown neighborhood around Thanksgiving weekend, when someone slashed one couple's boat cover and cushions. Just this past week three cars parked on Robinson Drive had the sides of their tires punctured. The very next night, a couple found the tire they had just replaced, punctured again. And the family with the boat says the two tires on their boat hitch were punctured with a knife as well.
"These are the best neighbors we've ever had since we lived here, and I think they'd be good people to help each other out in situations like this," says neighbor Steve Pierce.
Pierce plans to include several other blocks of homes when they start their Neighborhood Crime Watch.
