Georgetown, Ky (WKYT) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announced Thursday that a closure is scheduled for Coleman Lane in Scott County. The state says the closure is necessary for the US 25 reconstruction project.
The state says the closure will take place starting Friday at 9:00am, and will be in effect until further notice.
The location for the Coleman Lane closure on US 25 is mile point .825. The state says drivers will need to use the constructed (temporary) turnaround to enter and leave Coleman Lane from Ironworks Pike and there will be no access for vehicles off of US 25.
State workers have put signage is in place to alert and guide drivers. The state says the work is subject to change, depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
