Road crews have been plowing and salting throughout Scott County since 5:00am Monday. As of noon, most roads were passable.
Road department officials say there are still going to be some slick spots. They say drivers need to watch out for drifting snow because of the wind. Bridges and overpasses in the county could still be a bit icy.
Monday morning we talked to some people who have been out on the roads in Scott County. Steve Brannock says it wasn't a bad drive. "I live on a little road and it was clear and 62 from Cynthiana to Georgetown had a few spots but other than that it's been pretty clear."
I-75 in the area was also moving along fine on Monday afternoon.
Scott County road crews tell us they hope to have most of the streets cleared by rush hour tonight.
