GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WKYT) - Georgetown Police are working to find and arrest 25 people who they say have been trafficking drugs in Scott County.
Officers went out Thursday morning, searching for those suspects. As of 11:30 a.m., they had arrested nine people, most of them charged with felony drug trafficking. Police say the drug of choice for most of the wanted is the prescription drug Oxycodone.
This is the fourth drug roundup in Scott County in 2013. Police say several people arrested on Thursday were also arrested for the exact same thing during a drug bust in November.
