A Scott County Sheriff's deputy went to the hospital Friday morning after crashing his cruiser.
Emergency workers tell us the deputy ran off Stamping Ground Road and into a ditch around 5:30 a.m.
Firefighters describe his injuries as very minor.
They say he slid off the road.
Stamping ground road is back open.
