Things are peaceful on Cherry Bark Ct. right now, but that wasn't the case Monday night after someone fired five shots into a home with people inside.
Misha Thompson lives next door and was in her kitchen when she heard the shots ring out.
"I heard pow, pow, pow, crawled out to peep out the back door. My neighbor was like, someone just shot up my house," said Thompson.
Three adults were inside the home. Moments before the shooting they had witnessed another crime. Police believe the two may be related.
"Just prior to shots fired the people inside of 108 witnessed a burglary at 111, upon returning, that's when the shots were fired into the residence," said Lt. Robert Swanigan of the Georgetown Police.
An "Attempt To Locate" was put out for 18 year-old Jarvis Garrett. On Tuesday afternoon Georgetown Police located the teen and arrested him. Investigators say Garrett has confessed to firing five shots into the home. He is also suspected in a burglary that happened prior to the shooting on the same court.
