Drivers in northern Scott County are having to be extra careful out on the roads as the snow continues to make travel difficult.
"Taking it slow, watching for other vehicles, 'cause the yellow line is covered, so we've got to watch for it, and keep people over on their side and us on our side" said one driver.
What they're seeing on the roads Thursday evening is only the beginning. One driver know what's coming: "They're gonna get slippery as the temperature starts dropping, you can tell that."
That's why many are getting any errands they need to run out of the way before conditions get any worse.
