Children at a Scott County school are doing what they can to help the youngest tornado victims.
Each homeroom at Southern Elementary will adopt a child in Menifee County who lost their home or belongings in the tornado.
Students will fill containers with schools supplies, cards and other items and send them to Menifee County.
In about 4-6 weeks, Southern Elementary plans to follow up with tornado victims in Menifee County to see how recovery is going.
