A central Kentucky middle school teacher, who is facing dozens of sex charges, is now out of jail.
According to workers at the Scott County Detention Center, Jason Carpenter was released on a $100,000 cash bond.
Carpenter was suspended from his teaching job at Scott County Middle School.
He is charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse and charges of inappropriate contact with a girl under the age of 18.
Jail workers say Carpenter is due in court September 6.
