Unresponsive football player suffered dehydration

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WKYT) - A 16-year-old boy has returned to football camp after being found unresponsive.

Football camp coach Bill Cronin told WKYT Thursday morning that the teenager was taken to the hospital Wednesday night to be treated for dehydration.

Cronin said the camp staff, coaches and trainers responded quickly.

The player, whose name hasn't been released, returned to the dorm Wednesday night.

Practices will resume as planned for the remainder of the camp.

The camp is being held at Georgetown College.
