Woman tied up by armed robbers in home

Police want to find four people who broke into a home and tied up a woman during a robbery. It happened on Dorchester drive in Georgetown. One of the men was armed with a gun.

Police responded to the home for a hang up 911 call. When checking out the home, they heard a call for help from a woman inside. Moments later, a man jumped out a side window and police began chasing him.

Two men were arrested on scene, Tonie Matherly of Lexington and Rodney Cook of Winchester. Matherly was charged with robbery first. Cook faces resisting arrest and assault charges.

Police say they do believe they know who the two men on the run are, and expect warrants to be issued for their arrests soon.

This crime is one of ten recent robberies Georgetown Police have investigated in the past month. Police are saying that the majority of these crimes have some element of drug activity involved.
