The flakes began early, greeting workers before the sun even came up.
"We don't get too many days off, we just go right on in if we can make it there," said Robert Abshear. He spent the snowy day installing new window fixtures in Georgetown.
With roads across Central Kentucky covered in snow, it's no surprise that so many schools called off today But for many people who work outside, there's no such thing as a snow day.
Once they were on the job it was business as usual. The snow a hindrance, but nothing that couldn't be worked through.
And no matter how the roads look, the drive home is something to look forward too.
