HARLAN, Ky. (WYMT) - The Harlan County Fiscal Court approved a grant agreement with the FAA to upgrade the airport.
The grant will pay to install new runway lighting at the Tucker-Guthrie Memorial Airport.
The judge-executive said it will cost $300,000 total.
The FAA is providing $270,000 in the grant agreement.
Judge-Executive Joe Grieshop says state and local agencies will provide the other $30,000.
