CUMBERLAND, Ky. (WYMT) - Cumberland Police arrested the third man wanted for a stabbing last month.
Officers found 37-year-old Wayne Johnson walking on a road in Cumberland on Saturday night.
He has several charges including assault for the stabbing.
Investigators say Johnson stabbed Lonnie Tippett during a fight.
Johnson also received stab wounds and went to the hospital. Police say he hid from officers when he was released from the hospital last month.
Tippett and Curtis Halcomb are also charged in the case.
Cumberland Police are asking for help to find a man wanted for a stabbing.
Police say Wayne Johnson, Jr. is one of three men involved in a stabbing earlier this month.
Investigators say Johnson and Curtis Halcomb stabbed Lonnie Tippett at a home. Johnson also received stab wounds during the fight.
Police say Johnson went to the hospital but now he is out, and they cannot find him to arrest him.
"Since he came out, he knows there's a warrant on him and he's staying low, hiding from us. He may be in Virginia but he has family over here that he stays with," said Cumberland Police Officer Tyler Hensley.
Anyone who knows where he is should call Cumberland Police. You can remain anonymous.
The other two men, Lonnie Tippett and Curtis Halcomb, are already in jail. Both are charged with assault.
