HARLAN, Ky. (WYMT) - State police in Harlan County are continuing to investigate after a body was found inside a home in the Kildav community.
Police received a 911 call early Thursday morning that a man was found unresponsive.
Upon arrival, troopers discovered 47 year old Bruce M. Penix dead at the scene.
Police say the investigation is very preliminary at this time.
“At this time the case is pending further investigation and pending autopsy results,” Lt. Jason Adams said.
No charges or arrests have been made in connection with the death investigation.
