Police were out in full force before dawn arresting more than two dozen people on drug related charges in Harlan County.
Police used informants to catch people buying and selling drugs.
Police started the roundup before daylight. Officers say this improves their chances to get everyone they have warrants on.
Police say roundups help control the drug problem.
"We have created a big dent in it. I'm proud to say we've done that. Is our job done? Absolutely not. Are we going to continue the fight? Absolutely. You can bet your last dollar on that," said Harlan County Sheriff Marvin Lipfird.
Police say for every person in handcuffs means one less alleged drug dealer on the streets.
Operation UNITE along with several city police departments helped in this roundup.
