HARLAN COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - A Harlan County grand jury indicted Robert Curry on murder charges for the death of Bruce Penix last year.
Robert Curry, 40, is accused of beating Penix to death on September 6th, 2012. The indictment says Curry "caused the death of Bruce Penix by beating with his fist or by some other means."
The grand jury also indicted Curry on charges of menacing, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and being a persistent felony offender.
Curry was out of jail but officers arrested him again this week due to the indictment.
His bond on the murder charge is $500,000 cash.
