VERSAILLES, Ky. (AP) - The chairman of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System board of regents has been reappointed to the board for another term.
Officials with the college system say Gov. Steve Beshear reappointed Harlan County native P.G. Peeples Sr. to a term that will expire July 21, 2018.
Peeples will continue as board chairman until next June 30.
Peeples, who lives in Lexington, is president and CEO of the Lexington Urban League.
He has served on the KCTCS board since 2006.
