HARLAN, Ky. (WYMT) - A restaurant in Harlan will be the first to sell alcohol.
The alcohol ordinance passed two years ago.
The Harlan Daily reports the ordinance allows restaurants with a capacity of more than one hundred to serve alcohol.
Harlan Station, which used to be Ken and Paul's Steak House, is only serving beer right now.
The Executive Director of the Harlan Tourist and Convention commission told the paper he sees no downside as long as regulations are followed.
