State troopers are cracking down after receiving complaints about speeding coal trucks.
A Commercial Vehicle Officer says people are concerned about coal trucks tailgating them on U.S. 119 between Harlan and Pineville.
Kentucky State Police Captain Leslie Smith says troopers will join CVE with extra patrols on U.S. 119.
Safety check points were set up on Thursday.
