HARLAN, Ky. (WYMT) - A trial date is set for a man prosecutors say murdered a coal operator back in 1985.
Ernest Hensley is set to go on trial December 4th.
Harry Miller Maupin of Richmond went missing in 1985 and the case was considered a cold case until July of this year.
Investigators say Maupin's body was never found, but police say they learned he was shot and his body moved out of Harlan County.
They say Maupin and Hensley were business partners at a coal company.
