Two Harrodsburg women are fueling a money saving movement one coupon at a time.
Rebecca Patterson and Danielle Stevens are the brains behind The Classy Coupon Clipper website, Facebook page and classes.
Their Facebook page has close to 10,000 fans and the pair teach classes around the region that regularly draw hundreds of couponing students.
Patterson says it all started with a simple blog she began writing about her couponing deals. It grew in popularity and now, just 6 months later, she's busier than ever sharing tips, coupons, and "coupon etiquette."
The Classy Coupon Clippers teach "responsible stockpiling". That means never buying more than 10 of an item off the shelf.
Also, they suggest regularly donating items that wouldn't be used within a certain period of time.
Patterson and Stevens have donated items to those affected by natural disasters in Alabama and Missouri.
